The Stakeholders Foundation works to ensure a sustainable future for New York’s Capital Region by:

• Gathering and granting funds to a broad range of community programs supporting arts & culture, civic engagement and sustainable communities
• Creating an endowment fund held by the Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region that will allow the programs and initiatives of The Stakeholders to operate in perpetuity
• Cultivating the future of charitable giving in our region by attracting and training the next generation of philanthropists

The Young Philanthropists Institute (YPI) is a professional development series designed to instill a sense of philanthropic leadership among young professionals (45 and under) in the Capital Region. Through a series of in-depth workshops, the YPI educates participants about community service and charitable giving and cultivates a network of distinguished, philanthropic-minded individuals dedicated to funding our region’s future.
