The overall objective of The Stakeholders Arts & Culture Committee is to connect the current and next generation of leaders with the various arts and culture organizations to start dialogues, inform and educate, and empower people to contribute and impact the arts in a positive way. This committee will also serve to bridge the gap between the many diverse segments of the arts community in the Capital Region and the professional community that seeks to support them. The mission of the Arts Ambassador Institute (AAI) is to expose the current generation of young people to the arts and culture community. To accomplish this mission, the AAI provides a diverse and in-depth experience to participants to learn more about the arts and how the contribution of their resources can support the cultural community. The AAI educates participants on mission & vision, management needs and challenges of arts institutions and establishes a network of members of the creative class committed to the cultivation, growth and investment in the arts of the Capital Region.
