BOARD MATCHING PROGRAM: The board matching program trains and refers employees to serve on a nonprofit board based on your personal interests and the needs of nonprofits. 

BUSINESS TEAM VOLU NTEER PROJ ECTS: Promote team building as your employees make a tremendous impact on a local nonprofit. Projects can be a few hours or a full day for 5 to 500 employees! Join the nation in Service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and/or September 11.  Projects can be customized based on your community priority/interests.

SKILL-BASED VOLUNTEERING: Employees, executives in transition, and retirees can use their skills to assist nonprofits in the areas of HR, technology, finance and marketing. Volunteer consulting projects are clearly defined projects that last on average 10 -20 hours over two to three months.

LUNCH 'N LEARN PRESENTATION: Promote volunteerism by offering a presentation by Stakeholders staff to employees. Topics include an overview of Stakeholders services and how to become involved in the community. Can be held over lunch or at any time during the day.

VOLUNTEER EDUCATION: Employees may join the Stakeholders Institute that educates the current and next generations of volunteers and philanthropists on how to best use their time, talent and treasure in the Capital Region.  Running from October thru May each year, the Institute curriculum is crafted to engage and inform students on Board Service and Philanthropy, Arts, Sustainable Communities, Disaster Services, Veterans and Military Families.

When you become a Business Partner of The Stakeholders, you become a Member of the Stakeholders Civic Engagement Council, a cross-sector collaboration of Business, nonprofits, Government and Higher Ed.
