The Stakeholders Institute: Launching January 28

Stakeholders Institute Begins Webinar Series with Program on  
Legal Fiduciary Duties of Board Members 

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Stakeholders Institute, a forum whose mission is to better connect businesses and volunteers with nonprofits through collaboration and cooperation, announces the start of a fall webinar series designed to help inform leaders on the governance of not-for-profit organizations.  

Catherine Hedgeman, Esq., of Hedgeman Law Firm, will lead the first program in the series, scheduled for January 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Topics to be covered during the program include: 

  • Overview of the Not-For-Profit Revitalization Act 

  • Board Duties of Care, Loyalty and Obedience
